Reading edge art book festival: Call for participation!

 

Apply to the very first Reading edge art book festival, held at c.off in Stockholm, June 8-9th.

Reading edge is a library dedicated to the field of knowledge processed by the labor of choreography, performing arts and performance of today, and collects artists’ books and other experimental forms of publications in various format and materiality, published by independent artists and art initiatives operating at the margin. Reading edge is run by c.off and opened in August 2018.

Reading edge art book festival is arranged with the core purpose of bringing independent publishing practitioners together, to empower as well as extend the discourse and visibility of self-publishing practices. Reading edge art book festival wishes to offer an insight into a multiplicity of bodies, languages and technologies, here provided the possibility to participate in the making of a collective correlation with the public.

Who can apply?
Self-organized, artists-run, non-profit, independent art organizations, collectives or individual artists with a publishing practice. Local, as well as international.

What is the cost?
200 SEK (to cover the table rent, 120×40 cm for each exhibitor)

What will be on the festival program?
Book tables, networking meetings and presentations hosted by c.off, and seminars/performances that can be proposed and hosted by the exhibitors.

When is the deadline?
April 14th. We will notify all applicants before Easter.
