Stockholm Fringe Festival at first week of September

Stockholm Fringe Festival (STOFF) is back in our space for the second year in a row. This time they celebrate the tenth edition of Stockholm Fringe with the entire festival program made by women, non-binary and trans artists.

The program at will take place on Friday 6th of September and end with a durational performance on Saturday 7th of September. Moreover, on the 6th of September presents a special STOFF-X edition of  Bransch_brunch (Industry brunch) together with some of this year’s performing artists. The brunch invites you to a collective, informal discussion about our specific needs and requests for working with and pursuing an artistic practice in a male dominated world.

STOFF-X at 2019 – Free entrance on all events

  • Bransch_brunch #9: Friday 6/9 12:30

Branch_brunch#9 is arranged in collaboration with STOFF-X and STOFFnet. We will depart from the umbrella question: What do you need as a female, non-binary or trans artist to be able to perform your artistic practice now in this world, and how could we work to realize this together? Bransch_brunch is free but we gladly accept voluntary donations on site with swish or cash, RSVP deadline September 4th to info@coff (also let us know if you have allergies).

  • WORD! je te donne ma parole by Laura Kirshenbaum: Friday 6/9 15:00, Saturday 7/9 18:00

In WORD! Laura Kirshenbaum situates the index finger as center of attention. As the main generative force, the index finger choreographs the physical happening, constructs one after the other images from the collective to the personal.

  • Code bend time by Evangelia Kolyra: Saturday 7/9 15:30 – 18:00, Durational performance – come and go as you like

“Code bend time” is a participatory, durational performance installation for the diversity of cultural elements that movement and language carry. It is an inclusive invitation for communication. Evangelia Kolyra responds physically to the infinite variations of tone, pitch and timbre brought to bear upon the phonemes of several languages as spoken by her audience.

This playful and imaginative kinetic experiment is open to spectators of all ages and the “personality” of every voice. The audience is invited to participate in the making of a performative work taking the roles of performer and/or viewer. The result is a thrilling and humorous narrative building performance that questions the nature and nurturing of language and interaction between art and its audience. For more info visit
